This is the experience not to be missed in Wendake!<\/p>\n

Start your visit to the Huron-Wendat Museum with one of our guides specially trained in indigenous culture and history, but mainly that of the Huron-Wendat Nation. It is accompanied by one of these enthusiasts that you will discover the permanent exhibition “\u2009Territories, memories, knowledge\u2009” and the national longhouse Ekionkiestha’.<\/p>\n

Visiting the longhouse is experiencing the traditional ways of life of the pre-contact period, and this, life-size. This place of discovery is a journey to the very heart of these ways of life. With family, group or friends, you will be impressed by these high palisades, its garden highlighting the agriculture of the time and the interior of this house.<\/p>\n

End this visit with a native beer or rhubarb water at the famous La Traite restaurant adjacent to the museum.<\/p>\n
