The Wendat Nation
A people of diplomats, farmers, hunters and traders, the Wendat Nation has shaped the history of Northeastern North America for centuries.
Established in Wendake since 1697, the community remains deeply rooted in its culture while being resolutely contemporary and open to the world.
Today, Wendake is a vibrant living community where history, culture and development come together.
Tourism Wendake
Tourism Wendake is a non-profit organization created by the Huron-Wendat Nation Council. It acts as a catalyst for the destination’s tourism development.
We provide visitor reception and information services, promote Wendake as a destination, support local tourism businesses and foster collaboration within the regional tourism ecosystem.
We also develop and operate flagship experiences such as Onhwa’ Lumina and the Wendake Pow Wow, actively contributing to cultural visibility and economic benefits for the community.
